Roll Group Middle East, a heavy haul and lifting solution provider in the region, has expanded its operations in Saudi Arabia. The company is now positioned to be the second-largest inland transport company in Saudi Arabia.

Roll Group has been active in the Middle East since 2020, with presence in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Oman.

The new 4000-m2 facility in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, is to provide strategic storage and logistics support to clients in the region. Equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, the facility enables Roll Group to handle even the most complex heavy transport and lifting projects.

Equipment and capabilities

Roll Group’s global powerful fleet of heavy-duty equipment is capable of tackling the most challenging heavy-lift tasks. Owning self-propelled modular transporters (SPMTs) and conventional trailers that can move HL/ODC cargos with precision, while high-capacity cranes and gantries lift heavy equipment effortlessly.

Furthermore, Roll Group owns and operates a versatile heavy transport seagoing fleet consisting of dock-type vessels, which all have the option of three loading modes – RoRo (roll on/roll off), FloFlo (float in/float out) and LoLo (lift on/lift off) – in addition to deck carrier vessels. Roll Group’s own heavy-lift barge, the RollBarge 1, is available in the Middle East from February 2025.
