In the second half of 2025, heavy transportation company Roll Group will be adding two vessels from global logistics company KMC Line to its fleet. The two wide deck carriers will be renamed Bigroll KMC Beaumont and Bigroll KMC Busan.

The collaboration stems from a memorandum of understanding signed in June 2023.

With the addition of the two wide deck carriers, Roll Group will have the possibility to offer a larger fleet of ten heavy transport project vessels. The enlarged fleet will allow better scheduling, redundancy of risk, and higher flexibility for clients.

Expansion crucial

‘This expansion is crucial to meeting increased demand from our clients and realising the company’s growth ambitions,’ says Roll Group CEO, Peter Rondhuis. ‘We are grateful to KMC Line for making this expansion possible.’

The CEO emphasizes Roll Group’s eagerness to foster further growth of the fleet, including partnerships with fleet owners to facilitate clients’ demands. Roll Group is steadily growing to keep up with the global demand for integrated project solutions for transport on land and sea.

Roll Group, established in 2006, is engaged in specialised projects on both land and sea. With regional head offices in the Netherlands, Singapore, the United States, and Abu Dhabi, the company’s fleet includes ships, land transport via self-propelled modular transporters (SPMT), trucks and cranes, and specialised lifting capability up to 4000 tonnes.
