Heesen Yachts has christened M/Y Pa’lante, previously YN 21055, at the Hotel New York in Rotterdam. The yacht was initially built on speculation, an approach that combines immediate availability and Northern European quality.

Built upon an ultra efficient steel hull, M/Y Pa’lante benefits from a proven platform supported by Heesen’s proprietary database of over 200 vessels, which ensures that direct feedback from the fleet is systematically incorporated into new constructions to enhance reliability and performance. This technical foundation offers a balance of 760 GT volume and a compact size that grants access to the exclusive ports of the Mediterranean.

Project Frida

During construction, the project was known as Frida, a name rooted in Nordic tradition symbolising “peace” and inspired by the artist Frida Kahlo. Through the vision of its owners, the yacht has now embarked on its life as M/Y Pa’lante, a name that reflects a philosophy of encouragement and forward thinking.

M/Y Pa’lante features exterior lines by Omega Architects and an interior by Luca Dini Design and Architecture. Silvia Margutti, lead architect at the studio, collaborated with Heesen’s in-house interior engineering department to tailor the vessel to the owners’ lifestyle. The design provides a modern interpretation of maritime heritage, using dark woods in contrast with light tones, with specific locations designed to display a contemporary art collection.
