Heesen Yachts has announced the sale of YN 21055, Project Frida. The 55-metre steel motor yacht has been acquired by a client drawn to the shipyard’s Dutch pedigree and the significant advantage of a shortened delivery schedule.
Heesen’s 55-metre platform combines immediate availability with Northern European construction standards. The vessel offers the volume and technical sophistication required for high-level yacht ownership, providing a proven engineering foundation for long-range cruising.
The 55-metre platform was selected for its combination of generous internal volume and compact size, granting access to the charming ports of the Mediterranean.

Interior customisation
The interior design is by Luca Dini Design & Architecture. Silvia Margutti, lead architect at the studio, is currently collaborating with Heesen’s interior engineering department to tailor the vessel to the owner’s lifestyle and taste.
Following the completion of the interior customisation, Project Frida will undergo intensive sea trials in the North Sea to ensure all systems meet Heesen’s rigorous standards for performance and comfort. Delivery will take place shortly thereafter, in time for the summer cruising season.
The initial sale of 2026 marks a purposeful start to the year for the Dutch yacht builder. The vessel is intended for private use.
