Damen Yachting has sold its fifth Amels 80. The sale was concluded shortly after the yacht’s arrival in Vlissingen in January. The yacht is scheduled for delivery in autumn 2027.
Jan van Hogerwou, Commercial Executive at Damen Yachting: ‘The sale of this Amels 80 following its arrival in Vlissingen speaks to the enduring appeal of the Amels Limited Editions approach. It offers owners the reassurance of an established design, combined with the freedom to shape a yacht around their own vision, supported by the confidence of build quality and delivery.’
This latest sale, realised in close cooperation with Burgess, is indicative of the sustained demand for the Amels 80, states Damen. It builds on a legacy of more than fifty Amels Limited Editions yachts delivered to date.
‘This is the third yacht from the 80-metre design for which Burgess has introduced the buyer and is providing full build management through our in-house team. Building on our involvement with the flagship Amels 80, we are pleased to be working closely with the Amels team once again, states Sean Bianchi, Head of Technical Services, Burgess.

Largest sun deck in its class
Following in the footsteps of her Limited Editions predecessors, the Amels 80 builds on a heritage of Dutch craftsmanship. The exterior lines by Espen Øino International are complemented by interiors from Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design.
Life on board the Amels 80 is defined by space, openness and a strong connection to the sea. The 200-m2 sun deck, the largest in its class, offers both relaxation and entertainment. A three-sided open beach club enhances the connection to the water and the yacht features a private owner’s deck. Additional highlights include a 6.5-metre glass-bottom swimming pool, wellness facilities with gym, hammam and sauna, and guest accommodation on the main deck with panoramic views.

This careful integration of technology and design is part of a broader commitment to improving both the onboard experience and operational efficiency.
