BigLift Shipping has reported an important milestone in its fleet expansion programme. On Sunday, 15 February, the first vessel in a series of four newbuild BC-Class module carriers, the CY Frontier, was launched.
Following the launch, the vessel will be transferred to the outfitting quay for final completion and commissioning.
The second vessel in the series, BigLift Pioneer, is expected to enter service towards the end of the year. With the addition of these new vessels, BigLift will operate six heavy transport vessels (HTVs) by the end of 2026. This expansion significantly strengthens the company’s capacity to support complex heavy-lift and transport projects worldwide.
