The 70-metre yacht Skat has arrived at Oceanco for an extensive refit. The yacht was originally delivered by Lurssen in 2002.

The planned upgrades include significant technical enhancements, such as the installation of three new generators with a complete exhaust gas treatment system, along with major aesthetic improvements to both the interior and exterior, including the installation of 35 new windows.

‘Our Life Cycle Support team is excited to welcome Skat to Oceanco for these large upgrades,’ says Frederik Marks, project manager Refit. ‘This refit aligns perfectly with our ambition to respect, preserve and renew existing yachts, giving them a new lease of life that is aligned not only with how we live today but how we will be living tomorrow.’
