Longship Group has ordered a series of four Pmax Eco Trader vessels, with an option for another four. This newbuilding project is a collaboration between Groot Ship Design, GS Projects and Ship and Steelbuilding (SaS) at the Dutch shipyard in Waterhuizen, the Netherlands.
Groot Ship Design designed the Pmax Eco Trader vessels specifically to meet Longship’s requirements for custom shipping solutions.

The new series is scheduled for delivery starting beginning 2026. These 6000-DWT vessels are designed for highly efficient fuel consumption and advanced eco-friendly technologies. The initiative represents a significant step towards greener maritime operations, reflecting Longship’s commitment to environmental responsibility and innovation in the shipping industry.
