VT Group’s Vorstenbosch, which is the world’s largest inland tanker, has delivered fuel to Allseas’ Pioneering Spirit, the world’s largest offshore construction vessel, in the Port of Rotterdam. The operation was caught on camera.

The 13,500 mt Vorstenbosch owned by VT Group was built in 2011 and sails under the Dutch flag. It measures 147.15 metres in length, is 22.9 metres wide and has twenty tanks on board.

Allseas‘ Pioneering Spirit was built in South Korea between 2011 and 2014. It is the largest vessel in the world and capable of lifting and transporting entire platform topsides of up to 48,000 tonnes in one piece using motion-compensated single-lift technology. The twin-hulled vessel is 382 metres long and 124 metres wide.
