Spliethoff has acquired an additional P14-type vessel. The vessel is renamed Plantijngracht (former name: St. Pauli) and reflagged to the Dutch register. The vessel is currently in Algeciras to undergo maintenance and will be taken into service soon.
With this acquisition, the Spliethoff P-Type series now consists of nine vessels; three P8-type vessels of 20,100 DWT with 2 holds and combined crane capacity of 800 tonnes, and 6 P14-type series of 19,450 DWT with 2 holds and a combined crane capacity of 1400 mt.
The total fleet of the Spliethoff Group consists of over 70 multipurpose and heavy lift vessels that are available for the breakbulk, project and heavy transport markets. These vessels are operated in close cooperation between worldwide dry cargo specialist Spliethoff and heavy transport operator BigLift Shipping.
