To advance the technical design of Allseas’ in-house developed small modular reactor (SMR), the company is partnering with STL Nuclear. The latter is a South African-based leader in Generation IV nuclear reactor technology.
STL Nuclear brings a core team of technical specialists in fuel and reactor design, with a proven track record in developing high-temperature modular gas-cooled reactor (HTMR) and fuel plant technologies. According to Allseas, both companies’ missions align: to deliver clean and safe nuclear power.
This collaboration is to enhance Allseas’ growing nuclear capability and supports the development of the company’s reactor’s inherent safety features and a responsible, secure fuel cycle.
