Vestdavit has signed its biggest sales contract yet, delivering custom davit systems to shipbuilder Damen Naval. The agreement covers delivery of four confirmed vessel sets.
The Anti-Submarine Warfare Frigate (ASWF) is a project of the Royal Netherlands Navy (RNLN, Dutch: Koninklijke Marine) and Belgian Navy to replace the existing Multipurpose- or M-frigates.
This collaborative naval programme will see the construction of four next-generation frigates, two for each nation, designed to enhance anti-submarine warfare capabilities in the region. The Netherlands is leading the project, with Damen Naval serving as the main shipbuilder.
