The Executive Board of STC Group Foundation has appointed Cor van Wijngaarden as director of STC Next. His appointment took effect on 1 June 2025 after this was ratified at the General Meeting of Shareholders on Tuesday 27 May.
Van Wijngaarden is an experienced education manager with in-depth knowledge of the maritime and logistics sector. From his role within STC, he has been committed to educational quality, innovation and strengthening cooperation with industry.

Leading private training provider

STC Next
STC Next was formed out of STC Training & Consultancy, STC International, and STC KNRM. The organisation provides training for people working in and around the port with courses covering topics ranging from shipping, transport, logistics and offshore to hazardous materials. Courses take place at national and affiliated international training locations, in-company and online.
