Heesen Yachts has laid the keel of Project Evita, a 57-metre all-aluminium yacht designed to set new standards in luxury cruising. The keel laying took place at Heesen’s facility in Oss, the Netherlands, marking the commencement of construction.

The advanced engineering of Project Evita guarantees an impressive top speed of 22 knots at half load, delivering a blend of performance and comfort. Designed with a shallow draught, this yacht is perfectly suited for cruising the Bahamas, a rare feature for a yacht of this size and volume.

‘To achieve such a high top speed, the yacht must be lightweight, so we are naturally building in aluminium – something that we here at Heesen have elevated into an art form over the years,’ says Peter van der Zanden, General Manager of Design and Development at Heesen Yachts. ‘The vertical bow guarantees a long waterline length for maximum efficiency and speed potential, while the aft end is composed of complex sweeping curves. This yacht will be unmistakable when she enters a new harbour.’

Scoop-shaped stern, pool on main deck

The contemporary exterior, crafted by Omega Architects, features a striking silhouette characterised by an elongated profile and a distinctive scoop-shaped stern. With its sharp angles and dynamic lines, the design evokes the elegance and power of a leaping animal. As the second vessel in Heesen’s new 57-metre aluminium class with Fast Hull Displacement Form (FDHF), Project Evita boasts an impressive volume of 780 GT, offering ample space without compromising speed or agility.

The interior by Harrison Eidsgaard is tailored for both relaxation and entertainment. Project Evita accommodates up to twelve guests in six staterooms. A central elevator connects all three decks.

A standout feature of Project Evita is the pool on the main deck aft. Complementing this is a thoughtfully designed lazarette in the transom, providing storage for an array of water toys.

Project Evita is being built on spec and scheduled for delivery in Q2 2027.
