Damen Shipyards, Huisman, Wärtsilä Marine and STC want to jointly open a company school in Schiedam at the Damen Shiprepair site. This cooperation will not only train STC students, but also provide employees of the participating companies with additional training on specific topics.

The school, located on the premises of Damen Shiprepair and close to the work sites of Huisman and Wärtsilä, offers the unique opportunity to see theory directly in practice. The project strengthens the link between education and industry, ensuring a well-trained new generation within the maritime sector.

Plans are for the school to open in September.
