Pot Scheepvaart has signed a building contract with Royal Bodewes to build a 6000-tonne deadweight ice class 1A multi-purpose vessel. The construction will start in April/May this year, and delivery is scheduled in end Q1 2025.

The vessel will be built by Royal Bodewes at their shipyard in the north of the Netherlands. The vessel will be designed, constructed, and built for carrying general cargoes, timber, paper, wood pulp and bulk cargoes such as coal, grain as well as dangerous goods.
