The ground-breaking big fisher, Royal Huisman’s Project 406, left the shipyard’s inland new-build facilities in Vollenhove on 31 January for Amsterdam where it was launched on 1 February. It is the largest true sportfish yacht in the world.

The hull of this unique vessel measures 52 metres overall and its towering profile accommodates six decks. Watch a video of the transport of the yacht from Vollenhove to Amsterdam below.

Project 406 is designed for an experienced owner who is passionate about fishing. Vripack Yacht Design is responsible for the exterior and interior design and naval architecture of the project. Its design is extremely distinctive, with a long bow and high bulwarks sweeping through a clear sheer to a low and uncluttered cockpit aft.
