The latest Feadship to enter its completion stages, Project 822, eased out of its Kaag Island drydock on 28 August and into public view for the first time since its bare hull arrived in 2021.

This large-volume 75.70-metre superyacht features exterior design by the renowned British firm RWD who also designed the interior in collaboration with Susan Young Interiors. Naval architecture is by Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects. Now that it has slipped the confines of the building shed, the stylised mast can be fitted to the top deck.

Feadship will be sharing more information on this full custom yacht closer to the official launch date.

The launch of this yacht follows the delivery of the first Feadship of 2023. At the end of July, the yacht builder delivered the 84.20-metre Obsidian. This is the first of Feadship’s new generation of large yachts furthering carbon reduction through hulls optimised at cruising speed instead of top speed, weight control, advancements in electric propulsion including a 4.5-MWh battery bank, waste heat recovery and the ability to run engines on non-fossil diesel fuel called HVO.
