Huisman will deliver a 3000mt+ Leg Encircling Crane to Havfram Wind, an installation contractor for offshore wind turbines. The crane will be installed on Havrfram’s second NG-20000X wind turbine installation vessel (WTIV).

The vessel has been ordered at CIMC Raffles. Huisman‘s contract follows an earlier order in December 2022 for an identical crane to be installed on the first vessel.

The full electric LEC will be outfitted with a unique 155-metre boom and has a lifting height of approximately 180 metres above deck. The design has been finetuned according to specific turbine and foundation installation requirements defined by Havfram’s experienced engineering team.

The crane will be produced at Huisman’s production facility in Zhangzhou, China.
