The Port of Hamburg is getting ready for the future and looks ahead to what will happen in 2019.
Jens Meier, CEO of the Hamburg Port Authority (HPA), tells presenter Matthias Wolk about the plans on a trip through the port. They talk about the new Köhlbrand crossing, the new Ajax locomotive service station and the Port of Hamburg as a hotspot for the cruise industry. Important future topics such as emission reduction and digitisation will also be discussed. HPA-CEO Meier will also present the "Green4transPort" and "Port Wings" projects.
