Rotterdam based companies SeaOwls and Ulstein Design & Solutions, have decided to each go their own separate ways in the offshore wind industry.
Together the companies developed the patented heavy lift jack-up vessel concept SOUL. Both SeaOwls and Ulstein will continue to hold the patent rights of this concept and will pursue their own business opportunities based on the shared patent.
The innovative heavy lift jack-up vessel design concept is one the safest and most efficient solutions to transport and install the world’s largest and powerful offshore wind turbines in the coming decades.
