A launch at Royal Bodewes last Friday nearly resulted in a serious accident.

On 15 February, the MV Tasman was christened by Mrs. Coby Brouwerand and subsequently launched at Royal Bodewes, Hoogezand, the Netherlands. Although the launch itself was a success, an employee was nearly injured just before the ship hit the water. He was still trying to remove some ropes, while the vessel already started to slide towards the water. After tripping, the ship narrowly misses the man.
