As of 1 October, ProMedia Group is SWZ|Maritime's new publishing partner.

In addition to the publishing contract with SWZ|Maritime, ProMedia Group has acquired Schuttevaer, Vaart.nl, Automobiel Management, Driving Business, Autovraagbaak and the Autotechnisch Handboek from MyBusinessMedia. ProMedia is a publisher of business-to-business magazines in the mobility, traffic and transport sectors. With the acquisitions, the company extends its transport portfolio to cover the full spectrum of road, water and rail transport.

SWZ|Maritime

SWZ|Maritime is a publication of the Schip en Werf de Zee Foundation, which is responsible for the editorial content of the monthly magazine. The publishing services were outsourced to MyBusinessMedia. The Foundation has agreed to ProMedia becoming the new publishing partner.

Editorial Independence

From now on, MyBusinessMedia will focus on business-to-business magazines for the engineering sector. According to MyBusinessMedia, a publishing company focused on transport has more to offer the brands that have now been sold.

The brands will maintain their autonomy and editorial independence. All 11 editors and account managers move to ProMedia and continue working on their respective brands. Their office remains in Deventer, the Netherlands.

ProMedia Group

Following the acquisition, ProMedia Group (established in 2010) now has 55 employees. With market leading brands such as Nieuwsblad Transport, SpoorPro and Verkeersnet, the company keeps thousands of (general) managers, entrepreneurs and other professionals up to date on the latest developments in their respective sectors. In addition, the company organises high quality (inter)national conferences and trade fairs.
