The Innovation Expo, organised by five Dutch ministries, takes place on 4 October at the RDM Onderzeebootloods (former submarine building dock), which for the occasion will be turned into a Living Lab, with over 200 new inventions and ideas.
Maritime innovations form a large part of the event and include aquatic drones, a floating farm and mega floating islands. In addition, there is a smart shipping conference, a workshop of the role sea ports play in creating environmentally friendly shipping and presentations for the iSea innovation contest.
