Nederlands Loodswezen BV is one of three nominees for the Maritime KVNR Shipping Award 2018.
Each year, Nederlands Loodswezen BV contributes to the safe piloting of as many as 90,000 ships through the "Aorta of Europe". This is accompanied by enormous pressure and that is why Loodswezen is making every effort to customise the sustainable deployment of its employees.
In the field of welfare, development and health, the Loodswezen has managed to realise a workable package of customised services. Nederlands Loodwezen deserves this nomination because, as a social innovator, it sets the example for other employers both within and outside the maritime sector.
The other nominees, Multraship and Novatug's Carrousel Rave Tug and Windcat Workboats' MK3.5, will be featured on our website later this week. The winner will be announced at the Maritime Awards Gala on Monday 12 November.
