(With downloadable SWZ article) Every month, SWZ|Maritime editor Gerrit de Boer gathers all information concerning new contracts, launchings and deliveries of ships built in the Netherlands or by Dutch companies abroad in his "Maand Maritiem".
SWZ|Maritime's March issue discloses that Acta Marine has ordered a second DP2 Walk-to-Work Construction Support Vessel, an SX-195 CSV, from Ulstein. Belgian dredging company Jan De Nul seeks to expand its fleet with an 18,000 m3 Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger (TSHD) ordered from Cosco (Dalian) Shipyard Co. Ltd. and 2 6000 m3 TSHDs from Keppel Singmarine Pte.Ltd., Singapore. Additionally, Damen Shipyards Cape Town (DSCT) will build 3 StanPatrols 6211 for the South African navy.
The Arklow Viking was launched and a large number of ships were delivered, such as:
- Bravenes
- Werkendam
- Ice Crystal
- Western Rock
- Frigg W
