On Monday 12 November, the thirteenth edition of the Maritime Awards Gala will take place, once again celebrating the maritime industry's innovative strength with five prestigious awards. This is your chance to be on that podium so enter for one of the awards now.
Ship owners, shipyards, suppliers, students and designers are all eligible for an award when they have created added value for the Dutch maritime world or are an inspiring example of innovative force within the industry. Click one of the Maritime Awards for more information (in Dutch only) and to enter the competition.
- Maritime Innovation Award: meant for maritime and offshore suppliers showcasing an innovative product, process or service. Companies have to enter before Friday 13 April.
- Maritime Award KNVTS Ship of the Year: is awarded to a ship designed and built or outfitted in the Netherlands. Enter before Friday 20 April.
- Maritime KVNR Shipping Award: awarded to exemplary company management concerning ship, social organisational and environmental innovation in ocean shipping. Enter before Friday 20 April.
- Maritime Designer Award: for young maritime designers applying an innovative approach. Enter before Friday 1 June.
- Maritime RNLN van Hengel-Spengler Award: awarded to the best operational innovation of benefit to the Royal Netherlands Navy (RNLN), devised by students up to 35 years of age. Enter before Friday 22 June.
Maritime Awards Gala
The Maritime Awards Gala is organised by the Maritime Awards Gala Foundation, which includes representatives from Netherlands Maritime Technology, KVNR, KNVTS, NISS, Nederland Maritiem Land and the Royal Netherlands Navy. The Gala takes place during the Maritime Week (10-17 November 2018).
