(With downloadable SWZ article) Every month, SWZ|Maritime editor Gerrit de Boer gathers all information concerning new contracts, launchings and deliveries of ships built in the Netherlands or by Dutch companies abroad in his "Maand Maritiem".

SWZ|Maritime's January issue features new contracts such as the one for Damen's new vessel type the Marine Aggregate Dredger (MAD) 3500 and keel layings of the Celebrity Flora, an expedition cruise vessel being built by De Hoop Shipyard, and cutter suction dredger Spartacus, which Royal IHC is buidling for DEME.

At the same time, the DC Orisant and Nieuw Statendam were launched and the Cymbidium, Arklow Venus and Game Changer (amongst others) were delivered.

Read about these vessels and others by downloading this month's Maand Maritiem (in Dutch only).
