The Port of Rotterdam Authority has awarded a contract to build quay walls and a jetty to a consortium consisting of Royal Boskalis Westminster, Van Hattum en Blankevoort (Royal VolkerWessels) and TBI subsidiary Mobilis.

The consortium will also execute related activities for the construction of a new tank terminal in the port of Rotterdam. The contract is valued at more than EUR 100 million. The project will commence in early 2018 and is expected to be completed at the end of 2019.

New Storage Terminal for Oil Products

HES International is building a new storage terminal for oil products in the port of Rotterdam. To be able to accommodate both large oil tankers and inland vessels, the consortium will construct a 1200 m long quay wall for seagoing vessels, an 1100 m long quay wall for inland vessels, a 350 m long jetty with four berths as well as riverbank and soil protection.
