The Ulstein SX195 hull of Acta Marine’s new Walk-to-Work vessel Acta Auriga has arrived at Ulstein Verft AS Norway for final outfitting, commissioning and testing.
Ulstein Verft AS and its hull builder in Poland completed the steelwork after which the Acta Auriga was launched in dry-dock and prepared for its journey to Ulsteinvik, Norway.
It is now positioned in Ulstein Verft’s sheltered dry-dock where outfitting and the installation of the SMST provided mission equipment, motion compensated gangway and 3D crane will now commence.
Acta Orion
Upon delivery, by end Q1 2018, the Acta Auriga will join the Acta Orion, its semi-sister vessel, and as such form the second vessel in the Acta Marine fleet dedicated for walk to work, offshore logistics and accommodation services for a variety of clients in the offshore renewable and offshore energy industry.
