Tonight, the Dutch Maritime Week kicks off with the Maritime Awards Gala. Once again five awards will be presented to the Dutch maritime industry's finest.
Every year, the Maritime Week is full of events that place the Dutch maritime industry in the spotlights. The Maritime Awards Gala is the highlight of the week. At the gala, approximately 850 maritime professionals gather to celebrate the industry's most innovative feats. Five awards will be presented:
- The Maritime KVNR Shipping Award – Nominees are: Koole Engineering, Van Oord and Wagenborg Shipping
- The Maritime RNLN Van Hengel-Spengler Award – Nominees are: Jordy San José Sánchez, Guus van Fulpen and Leon Rietveld
- The Maritime Designer Award – Nominees are: Joan den Akker and Marijn Hage
- The Maritime Innovation Award – Nominees are: Aqua-Logic, CoVadem and Kotug International
- The Maritime Award: KNVTS Ship of the Year – Nominees are: IJveer 60, Raden Eddy Martadinata and Seagull-301
