(With infographic) Over the next year, the US Navy's unmanned undersea vehicles (UUVs) will continue to be used in a variety of mission sets, including mine counter measures, anti-submarine warfare, ISR, and oceanography.

The Department of the Navy’s 2018 Presidential budget request includes more than $151 million for the development and deployment of UUVs to aid these intricate missions. Some of the key investment highlights have been portrayed in the infographic “Investments in Unmanned: The Navy’s FY18 Budget at a Glance”, kindly supplied to us by the Institute for Defense & Government Advancement (IDGA).
