In the interest of global positioning CIG Maritime Technology has changed its name to DEKC Maritime, effective immediately.
The new name DEKC Maritime stands for Design Engineering Knowledge Center.
The company states that the reason for the name change is to position itself as a recognisable and independent engineering company for the maritime industry.
The opportunity to change their name into a more distinctive and independent one presented itself last November with the change of ownership and arrival of their new shareholder NIMBUS.
As Design Engineering Knowledge Center the company will offer design, engineering and support services. They are specialists in naval architecture, structural design, engineering and mechanical engineering.
