Wood Group and Heerema Fabrication Group (HFG) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The companies will join efforts to offer wellhead platform development, from design to installation, hook-up and commissioning to clients on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).
The MoU combines Wood Group’s engineering expertise and HFG’s specialist services in the engineering and construction of large and complex structures for the offshore oil & gas and energy-related industries. Both companies hope their cooperation supports demand in the NCS for wellhead platforms.
