During the Düsseldorf Boot trade fair, the new Dutch yacht brand Keizer Yachts will send its Keizer 42 on its maiden voyage.
Water sports fanatics Siep Keizer and Jos Brehler have been working on the realisation of their yacht for a few years now. ‘It was my dream to develop a yacht that not only looks fantastic, but is also practical and affordable,’ says Mr Keizer who, together with Vripack, was responsible for the yacht’s lines.
Keizer 42
The Keizer 42 is inspired by the traditional runabout, but with a modern drive line in the vessel's stern. For propulsion, there is a choice between two Volvo Penta D4 (2 x 300 HP) or D6 (2 x 400 HP) engines or a Mercury petrol engine with 2 x 320 HP. Depending on the engine type, the Keizer 42 can achieve a top speed of 40 knots.
The new yacht measures 13.42 m in length and 3.99 m in width. The cockpit with a completely flat floor offers much sitting room, a large recliner and a fully equipped (outside) galley.
Keizer Yachts will officially present the Keizer 42 to the press and public at the Düsseldorf Boot 2017 from 21-29 January (hall 5, stand E21). The first yachts have now been sold and will be delivered to the clients before the end of the year.
