Twelve vessels of Abis Shipping's fleet will be auctioned this week. On 25 November, ship owner Abis Shipping, based in Harlingen, the Netherlands, was forced to file for bankruptcy with the Dutch court.
Continuing difficult market conditions forced the company to take this step. Abis specialised in transporting heavy cargo for oil and gas companies and offshore wind farms.
