(With video) CIG Architecture and New Living on Water (NLW) will unveil their futuristic-looking floating homes concept at Cityscape Global in Dubai next month.
The concept has been established by architects and engineers. The concept has been engineered with the most modern techniques applied in the construction sector and shipbuilding industry.
To Michael Fahy of The National, NLW said it expects to be able to sell US $ 50 million worth of homes within a year of the launch at Cityscape Global. The circular design comes in different sizes. Fahy states the model being presented at Cityscape, which offers 1486 m2 internal space and 48 m2 outdoors, will cost $ 11 million.
NLW and CIG's deluxe, organic shaped residence consists of several floors (access by lifts and stairs) and is linked to the land with a car-jetty.
The companies expect to build the first residences before the end of 2017.
