Are we still the traditional industry that we used to be? On 1 July, the Center for Maritime Economics and Logistics (MEL) and YoungShip Rotterdam organise a joint workshop revolving around this question.

As digital shipping emerges, the workshop will look at how traditonal the shipping industry really is. The workshop takes place 1 July at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Views on Changing Industry

The founder of the start-up VesselBot Constantine Komodromos and the new thinking shipbroker Alain Grotenhuis from Blue Ocean Brokers will share their opinion on the subject providing useful insights from their own experience. At this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to meet representatives from various sides of the spectrum who will elaborate on and discuss how they see their industry changing and what steps they have taken to shape the future of the industry.
