Size and Capacity Beatrice Offshore Wind Farm
The Beatrice offshore wind farm will be located in the Outer Moray Firth. The 588 Megawatt offshore wind farm comprises 84 wind turbines on pre-piled jacket substructures. The power will be collected on two offshore transmission modules via 33 kilovolt array cables and associated equipment. The development, once fully constructed and operational, provides energy equivalent to the needs of approximately 470,000 homes.
Stanislav Yudin and Oleg Strashnov
Offshore installation activities will be executed in 2017 and 2018 using Seaway Heavy Lifting’s heavy lift vessels, Stanislav Yudin and Oleg Strashnov. Both these vessels provide significant lift and installation capabilities ideally suited to the challenges of installing wind farm foundations.
