(With video) Building of the Joint Runner 1 began at Peters Shipyards, Kampen, the Netherlands, in 2013. After a bankruptcy, the vessel could now finally be launched by Barkmeijer Shipyards.
Peters Shipyards went bankrupt in April 2014 while working on the Caranx. The yard and its intellectual property was acquired by the Bodewes Group, but Barkmeijer Shipyards was chosen the finish the Caranx, which then got the name Joint Runner.
