On 6 and 7 April, the first ever Launch and Recovery Forum will take place.
In the Launch and Recovery Forum navies as well as commercial operators, contractors, yards, research institutes and safety authorities share their experiences in Launch and Recovery at sea. Various subjects are presented, covering the complete lifecycle from concept development to operation, and new ideas and development plans are discussed.
The Forum was initiated in 2015 by the participants of JIP Laura and Nato working groups on launch and recovery and ship simulation. The Forum meeting has the objective to enable progress meetings for the individual projects and working groups as well as information exchange and discussions in an open meeting.
The Marin will be hosting the Forum meeting of the first Launch and Recovery Forum on 5 April. The rest of the Forum takes place at Hotel de Nieuwe Wereld, Wageningen.
