Aluminium Marine Consultants lowered the new Crew Transfer Vessel Tempest into the water for the first time on 16 November 2015 on time and on schedule for handover mid December.
Tempest will be operated by CWind, which has an initial charter contract in place with Vattenfall. This is the first time the company has ordered aluminium vessels.
The Crew Transfer Vessel is also first in class design from AMC. Tempest is the first of a four vessel order from Cwind, the following three are progressing rapidly for delivery in 2016.
