Ocean Signal will introduce its innovative rescueME MOB1 at Europort next week.
The rescueME MOB1 is an advanced Man Overboard locating device, incorporating both AIS and DSC technologies within the most compact product on the market. It measures 134 x 38 x 27 mm and weighs 90 g. It also has an integrated strobe light with moulded lens to ensure the survivor is easily spotted in poor light conditions.
The device is designed to easily integrate into inflatable life jackets, including those which are specifically developed for commercial use when heavy duty clothing or protective gear is being worn. Operating within a temperature range of -20C and +55C, the rescueME MOB1 has a comprehensive self-test facility and a seven-year battery life.
RescueME PLB1
Ocean Signal will also present the world's smallest PLB at Europort, the RescueME PLB1. At thirty per cent smaller than other PLBs, it is specifically designed to be small and light enough to carry or attach to clothing for instant access to emergency services at the press of a button.
At Europort, which takes place from 3-6 November at Ahoy Rotterdam, Ocean Signal can be found at the stand of True Heading, number 3324.
