This winter, Ulstein's ship designers visited three different Ulstein designed ships operating in the North Sea. The purpose of these field trips was to understand operations and to retrieve inputs from the crews to further develop and improve the company's ship designs and solutions.
The designers visited the two platform supply vessels NAO Thunder and NAO Guardian, both of the Ulstein PX121 design, and the IMR vessel Seven Viking, of the Ulstein SX148 design. The trips lasted for one day, four days and six days, respectively. All vessels operate in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea.
