SWZ Maritime's April issue features a special on all things related to passenger ships. From river cruisers to ocean cruisers, from regulation to ship design and measuring comfort. The special includes an extensive description of Holland America Line's newest and largest vessel currently under construction, the Koningsdam.

Antoon Oosting's "Maritieme markt" this month also centres on passenger ships. He discusses their safety and the risk of the human factor. Gerrit de Boer has made an overview of what is currently being built by the ocean cruise lines and Martin van Dijk has summarised which river cruisers are currently being built in the Netherlands.

This month's regular sections include news, "Maritieme markt", "Maand maritiem", From the media, book reviews, Mars reports and news and an events calendar of the KNVTS and Netherlands Maritime Technology.
