Uniworld's newest Super Ship, the S.S. Maria Theresa, has been equipped with green water treatment technology, the Merus rings.
The vessel is built for up to 150 guests travelling the Rhine, Main and Danube.
Merus Rings
Just as its sister ships, the S.S. Antoinette and S.S. Catherine, the S.S. Maria Theresa has Merus rings, which give off tiny oscillations that disturb the lime scale. Afterwards the troublesome substances are simply flushed away. By keeping the equipment free from scaling the initial performance level of the equipment will be brought back and it prolongs the lifetime of the equipment.
The system has been installed by Pronomar, which equipped the cold water system, the hot water system including circulation line, the swimming pool and kitchen applications.
