Piracy is raw, nasty and unsubtle robbery. But raw, nasty and unsubtle approaches will not stop it happening. Stopping piracy requires clear thought and directed resources. So it is good to know there are people out there thinking about piracy and helping inform decisions.
One of these people is the German academic Christian Bueger, who works at Cardiff University. He has a strong focus on piracy and created an online piracy database: piracy-studies.org. Lots of food for thought on piracy there.
