Although system engineering has become common place in construction, aviation and astronautics, the maritime industry is still somewhat behind. To stimulate the use of system engineering, a seminar will be held on this topic.

The seminar is organised by "Maritiem Kennis Centrum (MKC)" and "Topconsortium voor Kennis en Innovatie (TKI) Maritiem" and takes place 26 June from 13.30 to 17.30 at IHC Offshore & Marine in Krimpen aan den IJssel, the Netherlands.

Multiple speakers will addres the opportunities, advantages and limitations of system engineering in maritime industry. In additions, lessons learned will be discussed and examples from construction, aviation and astronautics will be given.
