Vitters Shipyard in Zwartsluis, the Netherlands has moved the hull for project 3072 to the hall for outfitting.

To move the superyacht hull, neighbour Hebo was contracted. With eight hydraulic platform cars, the 125 t construction of hull and supports was moved to the outfitting hall. The project is special for Vitters, because the team has built the aluminium casco themselves.

Outfitting

The superyacht´s slender lines create expectations for the yacht´s sailing performance in the Mediterranean and Caribbean. The ship will be outfitted with a 60 m mast, moveable keel, a special type of subsea anchors and retractable propellers. These last two will reduce water resistance.

Other Yachts under Construction

Apart from the 46 m yacht, Vitters has a 85 m sailing yacht under construction at its yard in Alblasserdam, the Netherlands. This ship is being built at a different location due to the maximum lock widths between Zwartsluis and the sea. By the end of this month, the yard will start work on a third project at Zwartsluis. All three projects will be delivered in 2015,
