Systems integrator Alewijnse Marine Systems has signed the official contracts for the launch of the new branches Alewijnse Marine Singapore Pte. Ltd. and Alewijnse Marine Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.
The Singapore and Malaysian will offer Alewijnse’s electro-technical services to shipyards and operators in South-East Asia. Singapore and Malaysia were chosen as their offshore industries are expanding rapidly. Their ports are also becoming more popular destinations for international offshore operators looking to repair and refit their high-value assets.
For the new subsidiaries, Alewijnse will work together with its partners Willtech Asia, an expert in mechanical engineering, and seaport terminal Johor Port, which has a dedicated offshore quay side of over 500 metres, with a minimum draft of 11 meters.
